The newest MINI brand concept car is rather unique, even among concept car designs. Known as the “Scrambler”, the 2016 Clubman concept has plenty of character. Designed for more adventurous drivers, it comes equipped with several off-road features such as specifically designed off-road tires, a luggage rack, and all-wheel drive! Additionally, its raised suspension guides it through more difficult terrain. Its black alloy wheels, which are wrapped in extra grip rubber tires, are paired with plastic cladding on the lower parts of the car’s body and wheel arches. Auxiliary lights help navigate in the dark.
Of course, being a MINI brand vehicle, the standard 2016 MINI Clubman also comes with plenty to love. Equipped with a 1.8 liter 3 cylinder engine or an optional GTI 2 liter turbo engine, it boasts plenty of power. Drivers looking for an extra boost may want to consider the six speed automatic transmission, which allows drivers to reach 134 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque!
