An Updated Exterior
The exterior design of the 2022 MINI Hardtop has received a refresh. The slim fog lights are new, as is the body-colored insert that stretches across the entire grille. This helps give the air intakes strike out a more prominent position.
The wheel arches and rear bumper have been updated as well. You can also choose from more wheel designs and additional body and roof colors. The new multi-tone roof can actually change colors, morphing from dark blue to light blue to black. It’s a nice feature that really helps the 2022 MINI Hardtop stand out.
You can also opt for a new blackline exterior package that trades in the chrome accents for black ones, which can definitely help this MINI car look even more stylish when paired with certain exterior colors.
New Interior Features
The steering wheel is completely new this year and comes equipped with buttons that should be a bit easier to use. The digital gauge cluster once found only in higher-end models is now standard. Drivers can also choose from new interior upholstery options, like a unique yellow-tinted cloth. The MINI Connected touchscreen is also bigger this time around, measuring at eight inches tall.
